TINA HAVELOCK STEVENS Residency at Artspace Studios

Tina Havelock Stevens has been selected to be a part of Artspace’s annual residency program that will run from 2024-25.

Included in a choice group of 10 exciting artists, they will be given a rent-free space to further deepen their practice within a wider exchange of ideas.

Stevens’ background as a documentary filmmaker and post-punk musician is deeply embedded in her work that encompasses still and moving image, improvisational performance, sound, music, and social engagement. In 2022, Stevens had a solo exhibition titled ‘Keeper of time’ with DMG spanning the multi-dimensional mediums she plays with as she simultaneously explored a sonic engagement with her personal archives.Her works are in the collections of Artbank, Campbelltown Arts Centre, Newcastle Art Gallery, Macquarie Group Collection and numerous private collections.
