EMMA FIELDEN ‘Attending’ at Latrobe Regional Gallery

August 4, 2024

Two of Emma Fielden’s works have been included in the exhibition ‘Attending’ at Latrobe Regional Gallery in Victoria. The show opens this Saturday and will run until 30.10.22.

Her selected works are the video ‘An Infinite Line (1 metre)’ – which has been acquired by the gallery – and the pen drawing ‘The Veil (after René Magritte’s The Lovers)’. The exhibition explores the beauty and quietude borne from inward reflection, and features art that “invites thoughtful consideration by the viewer. Art that asks the viewer to relax and suspend their typical concerns; to think and to dream.” In turn, Emma’s works represent the “distance of an intimate connection.”
