PETA CLANCY ‘Beating About the Bush’ Panel Discussion at The Art Gallery of Ballarat

Peta Clancy will be participating in the panel discussion ‘Who’s In The Picture?’ at The Art Gallery of Ballarat on 11.02.23 from 2-4pm. The discussion will be led by Vanessa Gerrans, CEO of the Ballarat International Foto Biennale, and include fellow artists involved in the exhibition ‘Beating About The Bush’: Siri Hayes and Jill Orr.

During the discussion, each artist will examine and reflect upon their featured works and creative processes in regards to composition, colour, context, and history. Vanessa Gerrans says: “We get to see their piece on the wall and form our own imaginings about what they might mean but to hear directly from the photographer is a rarefied experience.”

‘Beating About The Bush’ layers contemporary photography over Australian Impressionist paintings that will is open to the public until 19.02.23 and includes gallery artists Peta Clancy and Anne Zahalka.
