MENG-YU YAN ‘Tracing the Rupture’ at the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre

Meng-Yu Yan’s self-portraits will be shown in the group show ‘Tracing the Rupture’ at the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre from 21.07. – 10.09.23. The exhibition explores selfhood, moments of upheaval, and fractured spaces, and each artist “examines turning points in which rupture has taken place. These potent junctures possess the ability to develop or solidify our identity, as a consequence of what we’ve lost or what has been taken from us.” There will be an opening night event on Friday 21st July at 6pm.

Meng-Yu’s portrait series was first featured in their online exhibition at DMG: ‘Heaven; another ruin’.
