LOCUST JONES Residency at GENETO ART FOUNDATION

Locust Jones is currently an artist in residence at GENETO ART FOUNDATION in Kyoto, Japan. The art space ‘No.2’ is located in the area of Higashiyama Sanjo, where many traditional townhouses are clustered. The workspace breaks all partitions apart to transform the 100 year old cottage into a simple and modern white house for creative activity. The aim of ‘No.2’ is to create the source of art in Kyoto where artists from all over the world come and experience Japanese culture.

As part of the residency, new works on paper by the artist will be featured in an exhibition at TANADA Peace Gallery from 23.02. – 03.03.24.
