JON CATTAPAN ‘INTOMISSION’ in Regional Victoria

New works by Jon Cattapan will be projected onto billboards across 13 sites in regional Victoria as part of ‘INTOMISSION’: a large-scale digital art screening program. Contemporary art will occupy digital and static billboard infrastructure, playfully integrating work from 12 Australian artists at high-visibility locations, asserting art’s value in our everyday experience.

With consideration of region and country, INTOMISSION links artist, idea and place to inspire a captive audience and be an accessible pathway for the local citizen to experience art. Bringing a mix of styles, approaches, media and profiles, the non-profit project works to celebrate Australian art by sharing it to vast audiences, while drawing together a network of some of the country’s most interesting artists in one innovative program offering.

There will be a four day in-person gallery viewing session of the works at The Lennox in Richmond from 22nd-26th March 2023.

Ged Hart, Managing Director of TOM large-scale digital billboards, will be co-opted at locations in Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo, Shepparton, Wangaratta, Traralgon and Horsham thanks to the generosity of Total Outdoor Media (TOM) and programmed throughout the year by Nicholas Projects.
