Helen Pynor in ‘The Patient: The medical subject in contemporary art’

Helen Pynor is featured in ‘The Patient: The medical subject in contemporary art’ Curated by Bec Dean (Curator at large, Performance Space).  The exhibtion will be held at UNSW Galleries, 3rd of June till the 6th of August then touring New South Wales and Victoria. “The Patient’ explores the ways in which contemporary artists are addressing powerful human experiences such as pain, illness and dying, enhancing discussion and knowledge on these universal topics…Helen Pynor will collaborate with patients who have experienced clinical death, as well as examining the liminal nature of death on a microscopic, cellular level.’
