GIACOMO COSTA ‘Crossing’ at CUBO Unipol Offices in Unipol Tower, Bologna

The ‘Crossing’ exhibition held at the CUBO gallery in Bologna, Italy, boasts a selection of artists ranging from Klimt to Basilé, from Sironi to Bauermeister.

This show will be curated by Ilaria Bignotti and will include artist Giacomo Costa’s fierce work ‘timescale 16 (frame155)’.

The exhibition itinerary revolves around 7 themes: Experimentation, Empathy, Engagement, Protection, Sharing, Change, Vision. Virginia Cucchi writes on Costa’s work – ‘It is with a particular, I would say catalyzing force, that Giacomo Costa’s powerful and provocative oversized images, refined digital elaborations of photography that result in real painting, emotionally involve in their urban visitations with visions of landscapes that the author does not intend to impose as catastrophic forecasts but as considerations arising from a current development model that reveals seriously compromised the interaction between man and the environment.’
