The first ever cross-continental gallery swap is finally here. DOMINIK MERSCH GALLERY will be welcoming the cartel of Berlin artists into the Sydney space on Thursday 10th July, 6-8 PM. GALERIE PATRICK EBENSPERGER will be exhibiting a ground-breaking collection of artists, bringing to Sydney the apex of Berlin’s renowned and edgy visual art scene. With work from the likes of David Moises, Philip Grozinger, Kei Takemura and Hajnal Nemeth the show promises to be a cutting edge blend of mechanical analysis, dark and strange places, tentative embroidery and work derived from experimental opera.

The exhibition will be a unique opportunity for Sydney’s art and culture audience to experience the adventurous enigma of Berlin. As one of the worlds leading creative hubs alongside New York and Beijing, it is an exciting feat for Berlin to bring its contemporary European art installation and video work to our shores and our walls.

The opening will also be an opportunity to bid farewell and bon-voyage to the artists that DOMINIK MERSCH GALLERY is bringing to represent the best of Australian contemporary art in Berlin, reciprocating in full the gallery swap.
