CATHERINE O’DONNELL Winner of the Blacktown City Art Prize

Catherine O’Donnell has been announced as the winner of the Blacktown City Art Prize 2024 for her ‘Golden House Series’! These gilded stereolithographic sculptures present fibro houses encased in gold leaf, creating an ethereal shrine to their architectural style.

The exhibition will feature all 81 finalists and continue until 5th April 2024 at the Leo Kelly Blactown Arts Centre. Special consideration has been given to artworks that celebrated, expressed and reflected upon the diverse history, environment and First Nations stories of Blacktown City and the wider western Sydney community.
