TIM JOHNSON & DAVID SEQUEIRA collaboration ‘The Eternal Return’

A spiritual and artistic collaboration between artists Tim Johnson and David Sequeira is exhibiting this month at independent art space Five Walls in Footscray, Melbourne.

The concept of the Eternal Return is an ancient philosophy regarding the recurrence of all energy and existence within the universe. Working in a range of media, David Sequeira’s practice explores the notions of language and information through colour and geometry. Tim Johnson’s visionary and often eclectic style searches for spiritual connections between cultures and countries, creating mesmerising ‘floating worlds’. This exhibition marks their first painterly collaboration, where Sequeira’s geometric tonal orbs hover like a mandala above Johnson’s expressive vignettes of sitting Buddhas.

The collaborative show runs from the 25 September until the 12 October 2019.
