Tim Johnson’s painting  ‘Thredbo Valley’ has been selected as finalists in the 2021 KAAF Art Prize! ⁣⁣

Tim’s painting ‘Thredbo Valley’ interweaves the Australian landscape and floating spiritual symbols, resulting in a shifting kaleidoscope of the artist’s personal history. ⁣⁣⁣

“⁣⁣A painting of my brother trout fishing in the Thredbo River with an overlay of Buddhist, Western and abstract imagery. The use of dots (with permission) comes from my time working at Papunya, and Thredbo is a place we used to go to for holidays every summer.”⁣
