Philip Wolfhagen’s solo show ‘Elegies’ opens TOMORROW Thursday 27 September at 6PM, presenting new paintings in Sydney for the first time in three years. Wolfhagen is one of Australia’s most respected contemporary landscape painters, referred to as “a master of the atmospheric” in a recent profile for Art Collectormagazine. For this new series, Wolfhagen has instilled a sense of loss and longing into the landscape, recording subtle changes in light over time.
