OLIVER ABBOTT Finalist in The King’s School Art Prize

Oliver Abbott has been announced as a finalist in The King’s School Art Prize 2026. This prestigious annual acquisitive award celebrates contemporary Australian art, with the winner announced at the Gala Dinner opening night on 13 June 2026.

Oliver’s finalist work ‘52.6, 153.5, 5.2’ extends his construction and interrogation of a virtual world. Informed by a background in filmmaking, animation, and architecture, the artist approaches virtual construction as both medium and subject, translating physical space into mutable digital terrains that resist fixed interpretation through an fusion between world-building software and painting.
