Meng-Yu Yan in ‘Caldera’ festival at Eveleigh Locomotive Workshops

Described as “a night of fire and art in an industrial cathedral,” Caldera is a boutique, immersive festival in the historic blacksmith forge at Sydney’s Eveleigh Locomotive Workshops. Meng-Yu Yan’s surreal photographic works will be installed alongside the existing workshop machinery, pairing steam hammers and furnaces with digital prints, silk fabric and mirrors. Caldera combines contemporary art, burlesque, experimental music, and cocktails for a fascinating evening of entertainment within one of Sydney’s last remaining examples of turn-of-the-century industrial heritage.
