LUCAS DAVIDSON ‘Liquid Mountains’ at Bondi Pavilion Gallery

Lucas Davidson’s installation ‘In perfect stillness’ is being exhibited in the summer group show ‘Liquid Mountains’ at Bondi Pavilion Gallery from 10.12.22 – 29.01.23, opening this Saturday at 10am.

The exhibition features artists across video, sound, performance, installation and painting who depict the unique spiritual, social and sublime connection with the ocean and the surf: “The exhibition seeks a greater understanding only possible from those poised on a board. ‘In perfect stillness’ continues the artist’s practice of disrupting traditional subject-object relationships and challenging linear perceptions of self and world. To produce installation, Lucas extracts and prints samples of other artist’s work onto paper rolls, before placing them side-by-side to be re-photographed.
