Lottie Consalvo is the featured visual artist in an insightful article on ArtsHub by Brooke Boland, titled ‘Art is never finished, only abandoned‘.

Lottie says, “For painting, if I am finding impossible to finish a piece, I will identify what is working in the painting and paint it out, even if it hurts me to remove it, as often paintings cannot be resolved because we are protecting one element in it. … A work can have many possible endings and no two artworks can ever arrive at the same place which is something I love about art.”
