Lottie Consalvo has been selected for the Clayton Utz Art Partnership, which is bi-annually awarded to two outstanding Australian contemporary artists. The third Melbourne iteration of The Clayton Utz Art Partnership opens tonight and continues for six months, exhibiting a survey of paintings by Lottie throughout the office spaces. In these works, Consalvo contemplates the immeasurable, using broad gestural brushstrokes to reference the horizon line. These commanding forms sit within gaping spaces, giving psychological moments a physical guise.
Also featured are works by fellow recipient Miranda Skoczek. To view Lottie’s works in person, please make an appointment with Clayton Utz, Melbourne.
