KUNST SOCIETY’s first event with TIM JOHNSON

Kicking off the very first event for Dominik Mersch Gallery’s KUNST SOCIETY this week was a walk-through of TIM JOHNSON’s Artist Room at the Museum of Contemporary Art, led by the artist himself. It was incredibly insightful to hear Tim’s stories behind the works on display, and give our Kunst Society members a chance to ask Tim any burning questions they had about his practice. Following this tour, we visited Tim’s inner west studio, and got the chance to see the ethereal world of Tim’s practice up close. Having been working with Tim for now ten years, we are delighted that Tim was able to start off our Kunst Society program. We extend our thanks to him for giving us his invaluable insight into his work, and to our Kunst Society members for joining us on the night!
