JANET LAURENCE ‘Spells for Weather’ at The Bridge, Bundanon

Janet Laurence will be performing a choreographed ritualistic experience in partnership with the Dirt Witches and Tree Venerators at The Bridge, Bundanon, on 29th January 2023. The performers will create connections with Bundanon, its weather patterns and local ecologies through spell-making and dance: “When ‘business as usual’ fails, we must explore new avenues to address the escalating state of the climate emergency.” Read more.

Janet will also be participating in the Siteworks Laboratorium Talks on the same day (29.01.23) in the Art Museum, Bundanon. The artist will discuss meteorological research conducted in Antarctica, where the traditional and multifaceted observations of weather are communicated to the whole planet. Read more.
