Isidro Blasco’s solo show ‘Landscape – this is what the city becomes for the flâneur’ is showing at SIM Gallery in São Paulo, Brazil. Blasco attempts to re-create the fragmented experience of the metropolis by reconstructing a certain kind of irregular continuity using digital photography and common building materials. Blasco’s three-dimensional assemblages explore how vision and perception inform our experience of the city. His meandering constructions demonstrate an impressive attention to detail, offering viewers a plurality of perspectives through fragmented panoramic views. In this exhibition, Blasco highlights that a respect for individual differences is still a major challenge in today’s metropolis. The exhibition will open 8 November and continue until 15 December 2018. Click on the link below for more information.
