GIACOMO COSTA ‘Visiones Expandidas’ at Caixa Forum

Giacomo Costa is part of the group show ‘Visiones Expandidas’ at the Caixa Forum in Madrid, Spain, from 2.12.22 – 26.03.23. The exhibition brings together 172 works by artists who have “taken experimental photography to new creative horizons” and returns to the beginnings of such experimentation, including works from the collection of the Musée National d’Art Moderne and Le Centre Pompidou and artists such as Man Ray, László Moholy-Nagy, Dora Maar, Maurice Tabard, and Roger Parry. The exhibition will be structured into six thematic sections: Light, Movement, Alteration, Recreating Worlds, Vision, and Anatomies.

Februrary Giacomo has been creating imagined dystopian landscapes through manipulated photography for over two decades with a focus on urban landscapes and the reclamation of nature.
