‘The Uncanny’ curated by Amelia Kynaston
(23.08. – 13.09.2025)
Dominik Mersch Gallery is delighted to present ‘The Uncanny’, a group exhibition that reveals the delicate tension between the familiar and the surreal. Drawing on Sigmund Freud’s seminal 1919 essay Das Unheimliche, the show explores the intersection between its psychological frameworks and visual art, where beauty is laced with disorientation, perception slips into ambiguity, and each work lingers in the mind like a half-remembered dream.
