VIP EVENT: ANDREW ROGERS
Wednesday 11 September at 6:30PM
An exclusive artist talk with Andrew Rogers will be held on Wednesday 11 September at 6:30PM for VIP pass holders. During this intimate talk, collectors will hear Andrew speak about a number of sculptures on display, including his recent ‘Tessera’ series. This will also offer VIP guests the opportunity to gain exclusive insight into his processes, which have been described by the National Gallery of Australia as informed by “the rugged expression of Auguste Rodin, the organic abstraction of Henry Moore, and the cool conceptualism of Anthony Caro.—Andrew Rogers’ unique sculptural language suggests growth, regeneration and material transformation.”

PRETZEL-BRUNCH
WITH DOMINIK MERSCH AND SONJA GRIEGOSCHEWSKI
Friday 13 September at 12PM
Start your Friday at the fair with a delicious pretzel and conversation with Gallery Director Dominik Mersch and Director of the Goethe-Institut Australia Sonja Griegoschewski. Please note this event is for VIP passes only. This German breakfast will be focusing on Dominik Mersch Gallery’s two German-based artists represented at the Fair, Elger Esser and Clemens Krauss. Düsseldorf-based artist Elger Esser will be exhibiting luminous photographs of French river landscapes that are reminiscent of antique postcards. Berlin-based Clemens Krauss’ works feature heavy impasto paint against sparse planes of canvas, suggestive of people moving across an insurmountable landscape.
