Kaldor Public Art Projects recently announced their 2019 project with artist Asad Raza (open from 2 May – 19 May 2019). In preparation for this, Asad hosted an artist workshop last week, intended to establish a critical foundation for his project in Sydney, in dialogue with local collaborators across disciplines. Emma Fielden was invited to participate in this four-day workshop at the Clothing Store in Carriageworks, completing exercises in performance work and artist collaboration. Emma often presents works that are the result of performative gestures, such as the sculptures and videos in DMG’s current summer group show ‘The Fall’.
