CLAUDIA TERSTAPPEN, LOCUST JONES and JANET LAURENCE ‘water[shed]’ at Bett Gallery

Claudia Terstappen, Locust Jones, and Janet Laurence are currently being exhibited as part of Bett Gallery’s group show ‘water[shed]’ in Hobart, Tasmania, from 5.08. – 27.08.22. ‘water[shed] was conceived by OUTSIDE THE BOX / Earth Arts Rights to support the Restore Pedder campaign. The exhibition coincides with the 50th anniversary of Lake Pedder being submerged by impounded waters in 1972 and the first year of the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration 2021–2030.

In response, the exhibition brings together 50 Australian and international artists exploring “ecosystem restoration, re-wilding grief, loss and celebration of the original Lake Pedder.” Read more.
