CATHERINE O’DONNELL ‘In Suburbia: Recent Detours’ at S.H. Ervin Gallery

A selection of works by Catherine O’Donnell will be featured in the group show ‘In Suburbia: Recent Detours’ at S.H. Ervin Gallery from 08.03. – 04.05.25. The exhibition project features the work of 19 contemporary artists who celebrate and question the notion of the Australian dream through representations of the suburban landscape.

“The exhibition looks across a diverse spectrum of housing types and conditions in suburban environments from Perth, Melbourne, the Wollongong region, Sydney, Penrith, Lismore, the Northern Rivers and Brisbane. The scope and quality of over 50 works (painting, graphics, photography, sculpture and moving images) drawn from a select group of artists focuses on the physical and psychological spaces that characterise the suburban experience.”
