In Thomas Weinberger’s Œuvre, architecture takes a central role. Weinberger (b. 1964 inMunich, Germany) pursues describing the “everyday reality“ as if it is free of any ballast. By using a synthesis of day and night, he creates a situations of a world which can’t exist.
The photographs are so precise that every detail becomes visible, enabling the spectator to view in the depths of the picture, almost as having a ‘microscopic eye’. But there is still a doubt: is the depiction real or is it just an excellent illusion?
