Anne Zahalka will feature in a new SBS online interactive titled Nobody Loves You More Than Me: Finding Margarete. This beautiful and poignant story, written by Charlotte Wood, explores the untold life of Anne’s grandmother Margarete Back. Told through a series of unseen letters and photographs as well as original artwork by the artist, viewers will be invited to join Anne as she sets off on an emotional journey of discovery. This will take her to Vienna in March 1938, where 55-year-old Margarete and her teenage daughters are living together in a comfortable apartment when Hitler’s army marches into the city.
