ANNE ZAHALKA ‘Elemental’ Film Screening at the Salamanca Arts Centre, Hobart

Anne Zahalka will be featured in Elemental: A Cinematic Conversation with the Natural World – a film screening at the Salamanca Arts Centre in Hobart on 4th December 2025 at 6:00pm. This film brings together video artworks that explore the relationship between humans and nature, and will debut a new moving image work by Anne.

Featuring nine artists working with diverse methods of image-making, sound and archival material, Elemental offers a multilayered examination of how landscapes and environments influence human identity. Presented within Hobart’s historic Peacock Theatre – its cavernous interior carved directly into the rocky escarpment – the exhibition merges site and screen.

Doors open – 5:30pm | Film screening from 6:00pm – 9:00pm
