Anne Zahalka and Adrienne Gaha unveiled in National Art: Part One

August 17, 2018

Anne Zahalka’s ‘The Breakaway’ and Adrienne Gaha ‘Actaeon’ have been included in the National Art School’s latest major exhibition National Art: Part One, which celebrates some of the nation’s most accomplished and respected artists across multiple generations, all of whom are alumni of the School.

“This extraordinary body of over 160 works by 50 Australian artists who studied at the National Art School includes works created from 1947 through until the current day,” said Steven Alderton, Director and CEO of the National Art School. “The exhibition represents a powerful expression of the artists’ generosity and the affection they hold for the National Art School, whose history and contribution to Australian art and culture can be traced back 150 years.”

The exhibition will be on until 27 October 2018.
