ANNE ZAHALKA 35th Month of Photography Festival at Kunsthalle Bratislava, Slovakia

A selection of works by Anne Zahalka are being exhibited at the Kunsthalle in Bratislava as part of the 35th Month of Photography, a large-scale international photography festival, from 04.11. – 30.11.25.

Having built a celebrated career as one of Australia’s leading photo‑media artists, Anne Zahalka’s practice spans four decades and is defined by its insightful interrogations of culture, environment and identity. Her exhibited series ‘Fragments of Wild Life’ draws upon this rich thematic terrain: “In our era of heightened awareness about climate change, I seek to show the drastic changes in our environment and our role in its deterioration. I digitally alter my images to raise the alert while also bringing hope for its conservation in the future.”
